I have had an very interesting and exciting working career since 1990. I have been working as a teacher, a trainer, a people and business manager, a coach and for the last 12 years as a project manager. Over time, I have acquired a lot of experience in various areas and a great set of skills. I have worked in a national and international environment, managed local as well as international projects, I worked with small and large teams, with multi language/cultural teams and I have managed projects for startup companies and for the more established companies.
I always have ideas how to improve things or set off in a new direction to find more appropriate solutions. While there is a creative side in my, there is also an urge to create structure. I love interacting with people in any setting and environment. I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about other cultures. I have an open mind and a positive and flexible attitude. I’m enthusiastic, energetic and very driven.
I love to be a part of an organization or a community where I can express my talents and add value. I joined PMI since 2005 and became a volunteer in 2009 as deputy project manager of the PMI BeNeLux Day. In 2010 I continued being a volunteer as the project manager for the PMI BeNeLux Day. I joined the PMI NL chapter in 2011 as a board member (Director Innovation) to contribute to and serve a wider audience by bringing in my experience, skills and enthusiasm.
