Perry Nouwens – program manager within Philips – will share with you the journey of Philips towards a lean application portfolio. Coming from an ever growing application landscape (10.000+ applications), Philips picked up the challenge to converge this landscape towards a One Philips application portfolio. The presentation will focus on the difficult start of such a multi-year change program in a large multinational organization. The session will show the practical approach chosen by Philips and results achieved so far. It will inspire you to start similar change programs in organizations that have a converge challenge.

Dave van Herpen, Serviceline manager at Sogeti, will inspire you on the main drivers for application portfolio optimization (APO) and a pragmatic approach to initiate and carry out an APO program. By using the metaphore of the golf game, he will also guide you along the key success factors (and pitfalls) for a succesful APO program. After this session, your application portfolio will never be the same.
